At present, we have a very heavy band cloud cover over most of our coverage region.
The cover stretches far into the mid west USA but it is moving. We hope that it may move away by late tonight.
You can actually see what we are talking about by going to the "service guide" page of the website www.oceantemp.com and scrolling half way down to where it reads "Live GOES feed" Just click on it to see the overall updated image.
In view of the situation we will just wait for the midnight pass to do any updates. If the midnight pass is no good we will wait for the 3:30 am pass. We will send developments by e-mail as well as posting them on the "forum" page.
