Although it is mostly sunny out a very thin tissue like layer of cloud cover extends over most of our coverage region.
For our purposes of trying to extract SST data from the photos, this tissue thin cloud layer is as equally obstructive as a heavy cloud overcast and is corrupting & obscuring all out satellite photos at this time. We will wait until later on today or this evening to get some better images.
