We elected to post a composite image this morning due to the continued overcast and heavy cloud cover. Unlike a single snapshot satellite pass as we normally use, composite images are a combination of collected data from the last 12 to 48 hours all combined and pasted together into one image.
Composite images are not a favorite of ours however they do come in handy during continued periods of cloudy overcast weather when we cannot get individual passes and are better then looking at nothing at all.
