95% Cloudy Composite SST Image used

Cloud cover overnight was at about 90% so a Composite image was used.

SST composite images are a collection of several days satellite data combined into one image. These types of data images are very useful when cloud conditions continuously obscure individual satellite images.

Temperatures on these images are calculated to an average mean over the time period the data was collected. We feel that these images would be more useful then completely cloud masked individual images that display very little data. we will use them when extreme cloud conditions occur and when available.
