The past several years we were updating chart sets on average of three times per day and many days, as much as four (4) times per day.
Unfortunately, our 2011 chart update schedule will have to be a bit different then the last several years. we have lost the NOAA 17 satellite completely that we depended on for out late night update. The NOAA 15 satellite continues to function however more and more we see warped and corrupted passes being sent to our ground station which leaves it operational value at about 75%. The NOAA 16 satellite is also defective displaying temperatures that are sometimes not as accurate as could be and other times temperatures that are completely incorrect in our view.
In view of these satellite troubles we will only be able update two or perhaps three (3) times per day now at this time.
++ First update---------------->Anywhere between 8am and 11am
++ Second update------------->Anywhere between 4pm and 6pm
++ Third update (optional)---->Anywhere between 9pm and 12 midnight
*Their may be times when we will update well past midnight. If this happens we will send out an e-mail letting all customers know.
Thank You
