Dear Member
As you may know, we purchase raw satellite data from several different sources to keep prices as low as possible instead of maintaining a expensive satellite dish. We have come to learn that our data provider for our chlorophyll data (and some other late night METOP satellites) apparently get their data from some government sources. As you may be aware, the government is actually "shut down" now and "some" our data providers have had trouble sending us data on a steady basis ,in particular, our chlorophyll raw data that we manufacture Ocean Color charts from. Our ability to manufacture overnight charts has also been hampered. We have started searching out other providers today however if we cannot find any alternates, some nightly updates for Chlorophyll Ocean Color charts and some overnight updates will not be possible depending on what we receive. We sincerely apologize for the trouble and will do our best to find other providers in the interim.
Thank You
Fred
